The greater the number of Australians, who are willing to contribute to Common Sense (including by developing, refining and/or voting to approve or reject our proposed common-sense policies), the deeper and broader our collective ‘common sense’ will be.
The greater the number of Australians, who are willing to support Common Sense (including by encouraging family, friends, colleagues and others to support us) the greater our prospect of effecting common sense policies (whether by direct political representation, or by influencing the major political parties).
The more Australians who join us, the greater the ‘common-wealth’ of our membership, from whom we can nominate (and exercise better skill in nominating) both ordinary, and not so ordinary men and women, who possess the requisites for representing all Australians in our Houses of Parliament.
To join us as one of our Founding Members, click here for our Membership Application Form.
After you complete your application, we check your electoral details, before confirming your membership and providing information relevant to our progress.
Your membership is valid for an initial period, which ends 365 days after the association’s registration/birth as a political party. No fee is payable for your initial membership. We anticipate that future fees will be nominal. Membership is open to all Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents of voting age.
We anticipate that future Member Newsletters (approximately monthly) will describe new policy proposals and incorporate simple-to-use options for subscribers wishing to provide feedback – critiques and constructive input welcome – of new policy proposals. Newsletters will carry options for you to withdraw as a Member at any time. Newsletters are likely to be of monthly (no more than fortnightly) frequency.
